Scott and Alice have lived in and around Yosemite National Park for years. Their wedding gift of a weekend stay near their place in Wawona, and a weekend of their time showing us the most beautiful and un-crowded parts of park they love was a dream come true. Thanks you two!

Our first anniversary backpacking trip.

Emma Jo and I did a week and a half of car-camping and backpacking. "There's no apostrophe in 'Kings'," she says "because its named after the three kings from the bible." Jeff and Shanyn and Lola joined us there for some wonderful camping moments, like when the bear stole Jeff's backpack from about 20' away from where EJ and Shanyn were washing dishes (sorry no photos of that!). It is so beautiful there, we had a fantastic time and can't wait to go back. more pics --------
