Saturday would have been my dad's 77th birthday. Here's a photo album he would have gotten a kick out of seeing on the Interwebs. Most of these were digitized by my cousin Rick, a few were scanned by Marion and me. At right, Mom, back in the day.

Here are some pics of Dad's memorial service and the reception afterwards that my sister Emilie took.

Camp Glen Gray in Oakland, NJ was probably my Dad's favorite place in this world. He spent several summers there as waterfront director and other summer camp staff positions. Troop 12 still has a cabin there, nicknamed the Motel on the Hill because of its luxuriousness compared to the other cabins in camp. Some of my earliest memories are of visiting Dad at camp, and I also spent 6 or 8 summers and countless weekends there as a camper year-round.

The Old Guard of Camp Glen Gray, an organization serving the camp dad so loved, has put up a nice remembrance page for him. In lieu of flowers, Mom has requested that donations be sent to Friends of Glen Gray, P.O. Box 43654, Upper Montclair, N.J. 07043-5654, or the New Jersey Stroke Activity Center, 725 Joralemon St., Suite 191, Belleville, N.J. 07109, or the Montclair Volunteer Ambulance Unit, 95 Walnut St., Montclair, N.J. 07042.

Here's the obituary from the Montclair Times. They made a small mistake, calling my Aunt Gale his 'brother-in-law' when they should have called her his 'sister-in-law'.
